Jessica's Goals for 2012

~J~

Last year, I didn't do much goal setting for myself. I kind of ended up just winging things. While that was all well and good and I still managed to get a few major things accomplished, (like finishing my first book and beginning it's sequel) this year, I decided to challenge myself once again by making up some specific goals for the year 2012. Okay, I understand that you know what year it is, I just like writing 2012. It makes me excited about the possibilities this new year could hold. With that in mind, here are some of the major goals I made for this new year...

  • Read one book a month - My sister participated in a book challenge last year and is doing it again this year. I decided to join her since I didn't get much reading done last year.

  • Complete the MOHL "His Word in our Hearts 2012 - The 1 Peter Project" memory verse challenge. I, along with my sister and a brave few, will be memorizing the entire book of 1 Peter over the course of this year. which amounts to about two verses a week. Care to join us?

  • Finish editing my first book

  • Finish the first draft of my second book

  • Blog more consistently - yeah, I was terrible with blogging this last year.

  • Work towards being more healthy (exercising and eating right)

So those are some of my goals for the year. I have a few more but they are a bit more personal and so I didn't really want to share them online for the whole world to be able to read. ;) I know this looks like a lot but I think I can manage. I just need to dig deep and give my all. Please pray for me as I strive to complete these challenging tasks.
